Submissions comprising a written summary of no more than 200 words and a video pitch of no more than two minutes, recorded using Loom or an equivalent platform, are invited. These should describe your innovative idea, the clinical need it addresses, its stage of development and its potential to improve orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care.
Submissions are open to all orthopaedic students and resident doctors. Allied health professionals are also welcome to apply.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to give a 10-minute presentation in a Shark Tank-style competition, followed by questions from an expert panel. The panel will assess clinical relevance, originality, supporting evidence, feasibility and potential impact, and select the winner and runner-up on the day.
Shortlisted candidates are expected to attend the dinner following the event.
