1. How to renew your membership

Open the 'Renew your Membership' tab in the left column. Wait a few moments for your details to load.
Click the pencil button ✎ under the 'Renew / Pay' column.
Check the pre-loaded details are correct and make any necessary updates.
Complete all pages of the membership form and proceed to payment.

If you have subscribed for membership but not yet paid for it, you can pay online by following the membership renewal process as above, and selecting 'card payment (Stripe)'.

2. View your current and previous membership subscriptions

Open the 'Orders & Payments' tab in the left column.
Your current and previous membership subscription types are listed here (from 2025 onwards; membership records from 2024 are not included in the new SITGEC membership portal).

3. View payments and download membership invoices

Open the 'Orders & Payments' tab in the left column.
Your membership orders are listed here. Click the expand icon ˅ to view the details of each payment or order.
Click the download icon ⤓ to download your membership invoice/receipt. (If you need to update any details on your invoice, such as address or VAT number, this can be done via your profile).

4. Check and update your personal details and communication preferences

Click the expand icon ˅ in the top right of the page (next to your name) to open the dropdown options. Select 'Edit Profile'. From here you can view or edit your personal details, and subscribe or unsubscribe from the SITGEC mailing list.
If you make any changes to your profile, ensure you click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.

Invoice updates: You can change the institution name, address or VAT number on your membership invoice by editing your profile. Save the changes, then go to your Orders & Payments tab to download an updated invoice document. (Please note: Any changes to your current profile will appear in all previous invoice documents. If you need different details on previous invoices, ensure you have already downloaded any previous invoices before making changes to your profile).

Email address updates: You cannot update your email address from your profile. If you need to change your primary email address, please contact us at members@sitgec.it for assistance.

5. Update your membership portal password

We recommend that you update your membership portal password regularly.

Click the expand icon ˅ in the top right of the page (next to your name) to open the dropdown options. From here you can update your password.

6. View member-only resources, including access to Human Gene Therapy Journal

Documents for SITGEC members will be stored in the 'Resources' tab, located in the left column. This includes access information for Human Gene Therapy Journal, and where items relating to the AGM will be stored.
If you cannot see the Resources tab, or if the tab is empty, please check that you have a current and paid membership in place. Otherwise, contact us at members@sitgec.it for assistance.

7. Download your membership certificate

Your membership certificate will be stored in the 'Certificates' tab, located in the left column. Open the certificate document to download your copy.
